At Tech Tuesdays — a platform where future technologies meet global creativity — guests were given a rare first look at the upcoming chapter of the international documentary series Women and Roads. The Way to Yourself.
On stage at Belcanto at Dubai Opera, Directors Duo Anna Kameneva and Kristina Kretova shared an exclusive draft teaser of the sixth film in their acclaimed Women and Roads project, currently in production across the United Arab Emirates. The event brought together cultural leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators from around the world — echoing the spirit of unity that defines the series.
Among those present were two of the film’s featured women: Dr. Mouza Al Ameri, Chief of the Breast Care Center in Al Ain, and Ksenia Kostina, founder of Virée Dubai. Their presence reflected the heart of this new chapter — a celebration of the strength, depth, and diversity of women living and working in the UAE today.
This film highlights the stories of both Emirati women and long-term residents who have built careers, businesses, and communities across the seven emirates. It showcases a unique form of female empowerment grounded in cultural tradition, mutual respect, and forward-looking progress. From historic museums to modern innovation hubs, the documentary captures the complexity and richness of life in the UAE — far beyond surface impressions.
The teaser presentation came shortly after the directors returned from the Cannes Film Festival, where they presented the fifth film of the project, filmed in Azerbaijan.
For Kristina Kretova and Anna Kameneva, this UAE chapter is especially meaningful. With their production now based in the Emirates, the film stands as a tribute to a country where they actively create, collaborate, and build.
Tech Tuesdays, founded by Gordon Einstein, Mohammed Siam Husseini, and Iryna Erzen, continues to be one of the UAE’s leading spaces for dialogue between tech, culture, and visionary ideas. The synergy with Women and Roads was clear — both initiatives build bridges between disciplines, communities, and global narratives.
With each new chapter, Women and Roads continues to grow — and from its new base in the UAE, the project moves forward with even greater purpose and reach.
